Carl Ohaus is an accomplished supply chain management professional with demonstrated strengths in designing, building, and improving the performance of domestic and international supply chains. He is a recognized expert in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management and Demand Planning, having spent his career consulting for and working with some of the world’s largest companies. His experience includes a combination of industry leadership positions in consumer and industrial products, complimented by significant experience driving change and improving performance via consulting at Fortune 500 and middle market consumer, industrial and logistics companies.
Carl’s combination of work experience as a leader in industry and in the role of a trusted advisor along with Masters Degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and in Business Administration give him a unique set of experiences, tools and perspectives with which to solve the most challenging problems. He leverages exceptional analytical, communication, problem solving, business process improvement, and project management skills and the ability to work eectively across all levels within an organization and across cultures to develop and deliver creative solutions.
Prior to joining TriVista, Mr. Ohaus led Demand Planning, Supply Planning, CPFR, Customer Service, Consumer Service, Transportation, Indirect Sourcing and International Supply Chain functions at various times for the ~$1B Hardware & Home Improvement Group of Stanley Black & Decker where he provided leadership for up to 100 resources. His curiosity and desire for continuous learning have led to a history of success in diverse fields from heat transfer to aerospace and from the non-profit sector to multiple industries and consulting. His history of publications and experience as a conference speaker demonstrate his ability to develop innovative solutions and articulate them to a broader audience.
He resides in Southern California with his wife and four children with whom he enjoys exploring the great outdoors. He is active in his faith, an avid mountain biker, and a coach for his youngest son’s soccer team.
