After TriVista has successfully identified a viable source, we hand the reigns over to your supply chain team.  You never have to pay us a royalty and we will never mark up your goods.  We started this company to help manufacturers and importers have complete transparency into their supply chains.

basic sourcing project

Typically over the course of 6 to 12 weeks, TriVista advisors, in collaboration with Customer Management, will conduct the following activities:

1. Gather information regarding the product(s) to be sourced including specs and supplier requirements
2. Assist in shipping samples, descriptions, etc. of the product to TriVista’s Tianjin, China office
3. Conduct reviews with both teams in the USA and China – product, critical quality points, supplier requirements, etc.
4. Research and profile potential manufacturers in China
5. Down select to 1 to 4 suppliers based on capacity, interest in project, budgetary pricing, etc.
6. Conduct Manufacturing Capacity & Capability Assessments (MCCA) of suppliers and communicate findings
7. Facilitate sample delivery from 1 to 2 suppliers
8. Facilitate the negotiation of pricing, delivery, and payment terms with selected supplier

At the end of the engagement, the Customer will feel confident they have an additional option for a reliable source of supply in China.

Enhanced Sourcing Projects include the standard “Basic Sourcing Project” services, and also include:

1. In-depth customer research (the potential supplier’s US customers) to determine competitive conflict and to understand historical performance
2. Shipment History & Historical Performance Review
3. Company Credit Report by authorized Chinese Credit Agency
4. Enhanced Overall Supplier Assessment through analysis of credit data and conversations with management regarding historical performance
5. Verification of Certifications (ISO, SA8000, HACCP, etc.)
