Peter J. Hlavin Joins TriVista

Peter Hlavin brings over 25 years experience creating value for executive management and stakeholders in the areas of corporate development (M&A), investment banking, and private equity.  Peter has managed, directed, and/or supported over 100 middle market M&A projects representing over $1.5 billion in corporate financings.

Prior to joining TriVista, Peter was Owner of an ActionCOACH business coaching franchise providing operational guidance to executive management.  Previously, Peter was Managing Principal and co-founder of Classic Capital Management, a merchant banking boutique providing M&A and strategic advisory services.  Earlier, Peter was Vice President of Corporate Development for DT Industries, a $500 million public company comprised of 16 operating units.  In this capacity, he was responsible for cross-divisional acquisitions & divestitures and assisting in the integration of new acquisitions both domestically and internationally. TriVista’s China Team Expands

TriVista is pleased to announce the addition of two new team members to our Tianjin, China office.

Kevin Liu- Project Manager

Kevin brings 10 years of project and program management experience in the electronics and semiconductor industry to TriVista.

Prior to joining TriVista, Kevin was Project Manager at CTS – Tianjin, a large electronics firm where he managed customer relations and provided leadership and direction to a team of more than 1,000 employees.  During his tenure there Kevin championed cost reduction initiatives, and  supported both business development initiatives and new program formation and implementation. Rex Huo – Supplier Quality Engineer

Rex brings TriVista over 10 years of supply chain, quality, operations and manufacturing experience to his role as supplier quality engineer. Prior to joining TriVista, Rex spent several years as the Quality Management System Trainer at Siemens, one of the world’s largest electronics and electrical engineering companies. At Siemens, Rex was responsible for the implementation and management of quality systems audits, maintenance and improvement. On January 12th, TriVista was pleased to be a sponsor of the ACG Orange County Chapter’s 10th Annual Private Equity Marketplace Event for the fourth consecutive year! Private Equity Night is ACG Orange County’s main event of the year, drawing over 500 professionals from across the country to the St. Regis Resort, Monarch Beach. This year, more than 30 equity firms participated, as well as business owners, chief executive officers, chief financial officers, attorneys and investment bankers.

In the Summer of 2011, TriVista celebrated the grand opening of our first Midwest office. The Dayton, Ohio location serves as TriVista’s Midwest Headquarters and has been established to meet the growing demand for our services throughout the region. This key location expands our ability to offer local support to our growing client base and potential clients in the surrounding areas.

The new office in Ohio allows us to deliver superior service, execute projects and support our clients in that region more quickly and efficiently. Additionally, the location  enhances support for our clients and facilitate projects in each of TriVista’s four main service categories:

Why you Need Lean Manufacturing in China

Lean manufacturing in ChinaDeploying Lean Manufacturing in your factories and supply chain in China can reduce costs, offset rising prices, and improve overall business performance. TriVista is at the forefront of this initiative, working with companies to roll out supplier development and improvement projects throughout China and we are having quite the impact. In the first six months of 2011, our efforts have helped one customer achieve more than USD $1 million of cost avoidance.

Until recently, when it came to dealing with suppliers or factories in China, pressures of increasing prices were addressed with threats to remove the business, quality and process issues were addressed by your suppliers with additional labor, and supply shortages were addressed with additional contingency inventory at your suppliers. Brenda Reichelderfer Appointed Meggitt Non-executive Director

 

TriVista is proud to announce Brenda’s recent appointment as a non-executive director of Meggitt PLC, an international aerospace, defense and electronics group. Brenda is TriVista’s Senior Vice President and is also a member of the Technology Group of the Missile Defense Agency and a non-executive director of Federal Signal Corporation and Wencor Aerospace.

Joyce Zhang Joins TriVista China

Vanessa AiTriVista is pleased to announce the addition of a Marketing Associate to our growing team in China.

Vanessa Ai will assist the team by coordinating and facilitating all TriVista marketing efforts in China. Prior to joining TriVista, Vanessa led marketing communication campaign at Made in China, a leading creative consultancy company based in London.

In addition to providing marketing support, she also supports TriVista by conducting extensive supplier research in China.

As a native of Tianjin, Vanessa received her bachelor’s degree in Civil Aviation English and Management studies from Civil Aviation University of China, and her master degree in Educational Studies from University of York where she graduated with the award of distinction.
