Jennifer has led more than 75 Operations and Food Safety Due Diligence engagements globally for more than 45 Private Equity firms, identifying more than $350M in collective operational savings. She has also worked with over 35 companies to develop and implement food safety programs that would mitigate risk and bring them into compliance with complex regulations.

Jennifer Frankenberg brings a sector-defining combination of food safety, supply chain, operations, and risk management experience in the food and consumables space.  Her expertise ranges from collaborating with regulatory agencies on issues such as recall activities and food-borne illness investigations to performing plant inspections and ensuring regulatory compliance and high sanitation standards. As a highly effective strategist, financial analyst and process improvement consultant to companies ranging from startups to Fortune 100, Jennifer’s foundational education in food safety microbiology has been strengthened by deep understanding in business structures, sales and process management.

Industry Experience

Prior to joining TriVista, Jennifer spent 10 years with The Kroger Co. During her time there, Jennifer worked in several departments, including Regulatory Affairs, manufacturing sales, and finally as a Procurement Manager for ingredients. After leaving Kroger, Jennifer co-founded SAGE Food Safety, LLC, a boutique food safety, compliance and regulatory advisory firm, where she specialized in coaching companies in Crisis & Recall Management, Regulatory Compliance, Traceability, Quality Systems, HACCP, and Food Defense.
