Andy Xu - Lean Black Belt (China)

Andy Xu brings TriVista clients nearly 10 years of industrial manufacturing and quality management experience. Andy also specializes in Lean Six Sigma implementation and training.

Prior to joining TriVista, Andy was the Operational Excellence Expert for Tianjin’s Smith Kline & French Laboratories where he was responsible for driving and implementing Lean Six Sigma culture throughout their China operations. He established training programs and workshops as well as managed Operational Excellence activities on-site to support progressive business strategies. Andy also focused on continuous improvement and adhering to EHS and Quality Standards.

Andy also spent over 5 years with LG Electronics (Tianjin) as a Quality Engineer and Six Sigma Leader. At LG, Andy was responsible for establishing and implementing monthly and yearly factory improvement plans as well as the factory lean belt education system. Utilizing his black belt expertise, Andy supported new product development projects, production failure defect improvement projects driving project efficiency improvements and cost savings.

Andy received his Bachelor’s Degree in Measuring and Testing Technology and Instrument from Tianjin University and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Six Sigma Trainer.
