Stormy Hicks, Ph.D. - Senior Advisor

Stormy Hicks joined TriVista in 2011 as a Senior Advisor where he focuses on supporting Operational Due Diligence and Operational Performance Improvement projects. Prior to joining TriVista, Stormy held numerous CEO, COO and President roles at some of the world’s largest and most respected public and privately held corporations including J.B. Pointdexter & Co. Inc. ($850 million), ITT Industries ($650 million). Stormy began his career at Ford Motor Company where he worked for more than 20 years. During his tenure at Ford, Stormy ran operations in Brazil and Mexico with more than 10,000 employees between the two facilities and was later responsible for Worldwide Logistics Planning, Procurement & Operations overseeing the $4B global material planning logistics operation. Throughout his career, Stormy has been a strong believer in Lean Manufacturing and operational best practices and has championed projects around the world that have led to more than $500 million in cost savings.

Stormy has been a frequent guest lecturer at Cornell University, Northwestern, and at Harvard Business School. In addition to his extensive global business and management experience, Stormy served in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant in the Vietnam War (At Sea Surface Warfare). A certified six sigma green belt, he received his bachelor’s of science in mechanical engineering from the United States Naval Academy, his master’s of professional studies from Cornell University, and his PhD from Wayne State University.
