About Mike

As Managing Director, Mike McSweeney partners with investors, business owners, and executive teams to support M&A transactions and drive operational performance.

A Senior Partner since TriVista’s inception, Mike has been instrumental in the firm’s growth and development, helping establish TriVista as a trusted partner to investors and operating executives. In addition to his leadership at TriVista Consulting, he is a founding partner of TriVista Capital, where he leverages the firm’s extensive operational expertise to create long-term strategic value across the investment portfolio.

Mike brings deep cross-industry experience spanning consumer products, food and beverage, industrials, aerospace and defense, and business services. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at ITT Industries, a Fortune 300 company, where he developed a strong foundation in global operations and strategic execution.

He has overseen projects throughout North America, Europe, and Asia and currently serves on the boards of several private equity and family-owned businesses.

Mike holds a BA from Bond University in Queensland, Australia, and has completed executive leadership programs at Dartmouth College and Harvard University.
