AlphaSense
A market research tool that searches company filings, broker research, and expert call transcripts fast, used by investment and strategy teams.
A trend research tool that adds real search volume numbers and demand forecasts on top of Google Trends data.
Glimpse is a trend research tool for marketing and product teams that want to spot rising search trends before they go mainstream. It builds on Google Trends but adds real search volume numbers instead of only a relative index, and shows which social platform, such as TikTok or Reddit, is driving the conversation around a topic. A forecasting feature predicts demand up to 12 months ahead, which Glimpse says is backtested at over 95 percent accuracy. The tool ships as a Chrome extension as well as a full web app. Glimpse's own site lists large customers such as Google, Amazon, and Unilever.
This fits a brand, product, or marketing team that wants an early warning system for consumer trends. A good starting point is signing up for the free Hobbyist plan and testing it on a market you already know well. Teams that need heavier use should plan for the Pro plan, around 99 dollars a month, or the Expert plan, around 299 dollars a month; confirm these figures directly with Glimpse, since the company does not keep a public pricing page. Two risks: mistaking a rising search term for real market demand, since not every trend turns into sales, so pair Glimpse data with your own sales or web traffic numbers before acting; and limited transparency on data sources, since methodology details are not fully public.

Estimate assumptions: Based on 20 enabled users. This is a planning allowance, not verified product pricing. Confirm the vendor’s billing unit and current price or quote before budgeting.
Benefits have not been estimated: The current research does not estimate potential savings, return on investment, or how long it would take to recover the cost. Earlier benefit estimates are excluded.
Confirm current product identity, commercial packaging, data processing terms, sign-in and access rules, retention, integrations, support model, implementation effort, and rollback conditions.
Verify identity, package, availability, ownership, pricing, and security evidence before approving a pilot
Do not approve a pilot yet. Verify the current product identity, package, availability, owner, pricing, and security evidence; then define one workflow, a baseline, and rollback criteria.
Define what success looks like for a test of Glimpse and assign someone to lead it.
Once the requirements above are met, compare a small trial with how your team works today.
Track adoption, output quality, business results, and actual costs against the estimate.
Use the results to decide whether to stop, adjust, or expand the pilot.
Confirm encryption, how the vendor uses your data, customer data separation, how long data stays and how to delete it, activity records, sign-in and user setup, where data is handled, other companies that process data, past incidents, and what your team must manage.
Review before rollout: confirm how to export your data, revoke access, and return to your existing workflow. Assign an owner and test the rollback plan before expanding use.
