About Brent

As Director in TriVista’s Digital & Technology Practice, Brent Chelgren partners with executive teams to align technology strategy with business objectives, delivering programs and solutions that increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve organizational performance. He advises clients on digital transformation, ERP modernization, M&A integration, product development enablement, and technology-enabled value creation.

Brent brings deep experience in the MedTech and life sciences industries, where he has led complex technology and organizational transformations within highly regulated environments. Prior to joining TriVista, he held multiple senior IT leadership roles at Medtronic, including CIO and Business Unit IT Leader, Senior Director of Integrations, and Senior Director of R&D. In these roles, he led complex post-merger integrations and global ERP initiatives, and spearheaded innovation-focused technology programs that delivered measurable top- and bottom-line impact. He also played a key role in commercializing digital health and cardiac solutions, successfully guiding products through FDA approval to improve patient outcomes. He is a two-time recipient of the Medtronic CIO Award for his leadership in driving innovative, high-impact programs.

Brent holds a BS in Physics from North Park University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He is currently completing a Master of Health Informatics at Northwestern University.
