About Doug

Doug helps manufacturers improve operational performance through supply chain optimization, continuous improvement, and manufacturing footprint strategies that drive measurable business results. As Director in TriVista’s Operations Improvement Practice, he works with executive teams to optimize demand planning, inventory management, Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP), automation, and quality management.

Doug has led operational excellence initiatives across the aerospace and defense, automotive, chemicals, consumer products, food and beverage, industrial, medical device, and packaging industries. Throughout his career, he has delivered more than $230 million in collective cost reductions and revenue growth by improving production, facility, and process performance. His experience includes implementing SIOP processes across multi-plant operations and developing scheduling and material replenishment systems to address complex inventory challenges.

Before joining TriVista, Doug held operations, engineering, environmental, and continuous improvement leadership roles at GE Aviation before serving as a Master Black Belt and Senior Management Consultant at TBM Consulting Group. A Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, he has trained and mentored more than 400 Green Belts, Black Belts, and Master Black Belts.

Doug holds an MBA from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is also a Professional Engineer (Environmental) licensed by the Vermont Board of Engineering.
